1. Strengthening Marginalized Communities for Inclusive Development in Bangladesh project:

Project Duration: September 2023 to August 2026

Presently, this is the main project TDO. It is being implemented in cooperation with Khagrapur Mohila Kalyan Samity (KMKS) and Center for Integrated Programme and Development (CIPD). The project is supported by Bread for the World (BftW), Germany. TDO is responsible for implementing some activities in Rangamati sadar upazilla of Rangamati and Bandarban Sadar, Rowangchari, Naikhyangchari upazilla of Bandarban hill district. TDO is directly working in 11 villages in Bandarban hill district.

Proposed activities to be conducted in Rangamati hill district are as follows:

1. Provide entrepreneurship training to 12 unemployed women and youths in Rangamati
2. Organize 01 leadership training for women and community leaders in Rangamati hill district
3. Conduct 06 workshops/meetings with women leaders in Rangamati hill district
4. Support days observations at village and upazilla level in Rangamati hill district
5. Provide medical and other support to VAW victims
6. Conduct 02 local capacity for peace/Do No Harm training with staff and members

 

2. Support for realizing community’s development visions in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (SRCD-CHT)
